진도군, 명량대첩축제 대비 가축 질병 차단 총력

진도군이 오는 9월 19일부터 21일까지 열리는 2025 명량대첩축제를 앞두고 가축 질병 예방을 위해 방역 활동을 강화한다.

군은 축제 주요 진입로에 방역 매트를 설치하고 방역 차량을 상시 운영하며, 현장에는 방역관리 인력을 배치해 필요시 즉각 대응할 계획이다.

축산농가를 대상으로 사전 차단방역 교육과 홍보도 병행하며, 행사장 방문 후 축산차량 일제 소독을 실시하도록 안내한다.

또한, 행사장 주변과 진입로 점검을 강화하고 소독 장비와 방역물품을 보강해 사각지대 없는 방역 체계를 구축할 예정이다.

진도군 관계자는 “축제 기간 가축 질병 유입을 철저히 차단해 지역 축산업을 보호하고, 군민과 관광객 모두가 안심할 수 있는 축제를 만들겠다.”고 밝혔다.




[Jindo=Haenam News] – Jindo County is ramping up measures to prevent livestock diseases ahead of the 2025 Myeongnyang Victory Festival, scheduled from September 19 to 21.
The county plans to install disinfection mats at major festival entrances and operate disinfection vehicles continuously, with on-site personnel ready to respond immediately if needed.
Pre-event education and awareness campaigns are also being conducted for local livestock farmers, and guidance is provided to ensure all livestock vehicles visiting the festival are thoroughly disinfected before returning home.
In addition, the county is reinforcing inspections of festival grounds and nearby roads and upgrading disinfection equipment and supplies to establish a comprehensive, gap-free biosecurity system.
A Jindo County official stated, “We are committed to strictly preventing the introduction of livestock diseases during the festival, protecting local livestock industries, and ensuring a safe and reassuring environment for both residents and visitors.”
