“모든 청소년들에게 여행을” 해남군-포위드투 재단 업무협약 체결

해남군과 포위드투 재단(ForWithTo Foundation)은 11일 소외계층 청소년들의 문화향유권 확대를 위한 ‘포위드투 여행 프로젝트’ 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약으로 해남군은 사업 대상자 선정 및 행정적 지원을, 재단은 재정적 후원과 사회공헌 활동 기획을 맡는다.

첫 활동으로 12일부터 4일간 해남군 청소년 11명이 제주도 여행에 나서며, 경비 전액은 재단이 지원한다.

앞으로 공연·전시 관람, 문화예술 체험 등 다양한 문화 후원이 이어지고 해외여행 프로젝트로 확대될 예정이다.

명현관 해남군수는 “청소년들이 차별 없이 문화와 여행을 누릴 기회를 제공하는 뜻깊은 협약”이라며 “청소년들의 꿈과 자존감 함양에 도움이 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.

이상진 포위드투 재단 대표는 “여행과 문화체험을 통해 청소년들의 시야를 넓히고 건강한 성장을 돕겠다.”며 “해남군과 함께 지속적인 후원 활동을 이어가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 미국 캘리포니아에 본사를 둔 포위드투 재단은 2008년부터 자선활동을 시작해 보육원 건립, 탈북배경 청소년 여행, 다문화가정 지원 등 다양한 사회공헌사업을 이어오고 있다.

“Travel Opportunities for All Youth” — Haenam County Signs MOU with ForWithTo Foundation
Supporting underprivileged youth with cultural opportunities, starting with a trip to Jeju Island
Haenam County and the ForWithTo Foundation signed a “ForWithTo Travel Project” memorandum of understanding (MOU) on September 11 to expand cultural access for underprivileged youth.
Under the agreement, Haenam County will handle participant selection and administrative support, while the Foundation will provide financial sponsorship and plan social contribution activities.
The first program begins on September 12, with 11 underprivileged youths from Haenam embarking on a four-day trip to Jeju Island, fully funded by the Foundation. Future initiatives will include performances, exhibitions, cultural experiences, and plans to expand into overseas travel projects.
Haenam County Mayor Myung Hyun-gwan stated, “It is deeply meaningful to create opportunities for all youth to equally enjoy culture and travel. I hope this agreement helps foster their dreams and self-esteem.”
ForWithTo Foundation CEO Lee Sang-jin said, “By supporting travel and cultural experiences, we aim to broaden young people’s perspectives and encourage healthy growth. We will continue our sponsorship activities in partnership with Haenam County.”
Meanwhile, the ForWithTo Foundation, headquartered in California, USA, has been engaged in charitable activities since 2008, including the construction of orphanages and cultural support programs for marginalized groups such as youth with North Korean backgrounds and multicultural families.
