‘진도홍주 38도’는 진도산 쌀과 붉은 지초를 사용해 빚은 순 곡주로, 두 번의 증류와 감압증류 기법을 통해 부드러운 향과 깊은 맛을 자랑한다.

대대로영농조합법인은 ‘진도홍주 58도’, ‘아라리’, ‘루비콘’ 등 다양한 제품도 선보이고 있다.

김희수 진도군수는 “진도홍주는 천년의 역사를 지닌 고유 토속주로, 앞으로도 판로 확대와 대중화를 통해 대한민국 대표 전통주로 성장하도록 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 지난해에는 ‘진도홍주 58도’가 같은 품평회 증류주 부문 우수상을 수상한 바 있다.

Daedaero Agricultural Cooperative Wins Excellence Award for ‘Jindo Hongju 38°’ at 2025 Namdo Traditional Liquor Competition
Jindo’s signature traditional liquor, ‘Jindo Hongju 38°’, won the Excellence Award in the distilled spirits category at the 2025 Namdo Traditional Liquor Competition, held on September 2 at the Gwangju MBC Public Hall.
‘Jindo Hongju 38°’ is a pure grain liquor brewed from high-quality rice and red gromwell roots grown in Jindo. Through a double distillation process and vacuum distillation technique, it delivers a smooth aroma and rich, deep flavor.
Daedaero Agricultural Cooperative also offers a variety of products, including ‘Jindo Hongju 58°’, ‘Arari’, and ‘Rubicon’.
Mayor Kim Hee-su of Jindo stated, “Jindo Hongju is a traditional local liquor with a history spanning over a thousand years. We will continue to support its expansion and popularization so that it can grow into a leading traditional liquor representing Korea.”
Last year, ‘Jindo Hongju 58°’ also won the Excellence Award in the distilled spirits category at the same competition.
