해남군, 2026년도 생활임금 시급 11,390원 확정

해남군이 2026년도 생활임금을 시간당 1만 1,390원으로 확정했다고 18일 밝혔다.

이는 지난해 생활임금 1만 1,140원보다 2.2%(250원) 오른 금액으로, 정부가 지난 8월 고시한 2026년 최저임금 시급 1만 320원보다 1,070원 높은 수준이다.

해남군 생활임금위원회는 노동자단체 등으로 구성돼 있으며, 최저임금, 물가상승률, 근로자의 평균 가계지출 수준 등을 종합적으로 고려해 매년 생활임금을 결정한다.

생활임금 적용 대상자는 군청, 군의회, 군 출자·출연기관 소속 근로자 등 약 60여명으로, 1주 소정근로 40시간 기준 월 환산액은 238만 510원이다.

이번 생활임금은 2026년 1월 1일부터 1년간 적용될 예정이다.

군 관계자는 “생활임금 적용을 통해 공공부문 근로자의 안정적 생활을 지원하고, 지역경제 활성화에도 기여할 것으로 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.

Haenam County Sets 2026 Living Wage at KRW 11,390 per Hour
Up 2.2% from Last Year, KRW 1,070 Higher than Minimum Wage
Haenam County announced on the 18th that the 2026 living wage has been set at KRW 11,390 per hour.
This represents a 2.2% increase (KRW 250) from last year’s living wage of KRW 11,140 per hour, and is KRW 1,070 higher than the 2026 government-mandated minimum wage of KRW 10,320 per hour, announced in August.
The Haenam County Living Wage Committee, which is composed of labor organizations and other representatives, determines the living wage annually by considering factors such as the minimum wage, inflation rate, and the average household expenditure of workers.
The living wage applies to approximately 60 employees working for the county government, the county council, and county-funded or affiliated institutions. Based on a standard 40-hour workweek, this corresponds to a monthly salary of KRW 2,380,510.
The newly established living wage will be effective from January 1, 2026, for one year.
A county official stated, “The application of the living wage is expected to support the stable livelihood of public-sector employees and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.”
