진도군문화도시센터 주관으로 진행되는 이번 과정은 전공자와 전수생을 대상으로 국악, 전통연희, 한국화 등 다양한 전통예술을 진도의 명인들이 직접 전수한다.

교육은 서화, 소리, 북놀이, 씻김굿 등 핵심 분야를 아우르는 실기 중심 심화 강좌로, 명인들의 예술 세계와 전통문화의 맥락까지 경험할 수 있다.

서울 순회 특강은 조기 마감됐으며, 진도 정규과정은 9월 12일부터 참가비 2만 원으로 운영된다.

Jindo-gun to Offer Traditional Arts Master Class ‘Namdo Master Arts Academy’
Jindo-gun will operate the traditional arts master class ‘Namdo Master Arts Academy’ as part of its cultural city initiative.
Organized by the Jindo Cultural City Center, the program is aimed at students and apprentices majoring in traditional arts. Masters from Jindo will provide direct instruction in various traditional art forms, including Korean music, traditional performances, and Korean painting.
The courses cover key areas such as calligraphy and painting, traditional songs, drum performances, and Ssikkimgut rituals, focusing on hands-on, advanced training. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the artistic world of the masters and the broader context of traditional culture.
While the Seoul touring lectures were fully booked due to high demand, the regular Jindo courses will begin on September 12, with a participation fee of 20,000 KRW.
