진도군문화도시센터가 지난 9월 4~7일 서울 여의도공원에서 열린 ‘2025 문화도시박람회’에 참가해 진도의 문화자원을 전국에 선보였다.

특히 ‘아리랑유람단’의 진도북춤 공연은 웅장한 북소리와 역동적인 무대로 관람객의 큰 호응을 받으며, 진도의 무형문화유산을 알리는 계기가 됐다.

센터는 이번 박람회를 계기로 문화도시 간 교류를 확대하고, ‘민속문화의 섬 진도, 사는 게 예술이다!’라는 슬로건 아래 주민 참여형 문화사업을 강화할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

The Jindo Cultural City Center participated in the ‘2025 Cultural Cities Expo’ held from September 4 to 7 at Yeouido Park in Seoul, showcasing Jindo’s rich cultural resources to a nationwide audience.
Notably, the ‘Arirang Troupe’ performed the dynamic Jindo Bukcheom (drum dance), receiving enthusiastic applause from the audience and helping raise awareness of Jindo’s intangible cultural heritage.
The Center stated that it plans to expand exchanges with other cultural cities and strengthen resident-participatory cultural programs under the slogan, “Jindo, the Island of Folk Culture – Life is Art.”
