진도군은 신규 임용된 새내기 공무원 26명을 대상으로 지난 18일 ‘우리 고장 바로 알기’ 현장 학습을 실시했다.

이번 현장 학습은 진도군의 주요 행정시설과 문화유적, 지역 산업 현장을 직접 탐방하는 방식으로 진행됐다.
울돌목 진도타워, 운림산방, 쏠비치 진도 등을 방문하며 지역의 역사와 문화, 행정과 산업 전반에 대한 이해를 넓히는 시간을 가졌다.

특히 운림산방에서는 진도 출신 예술가들의 전통 예술 흔적을 직접 체험하며 문화적 소양을 높이는 기회가 제공됐다.

아울러 교육 과정에서는 조직문화 이해, 소통 역량 강화, 공직 가치 확립, 청렴 교육도 함께 진행돼, 이론 중심을 넘어 실제 업무 환경에 적응할 수 있는 실질적인 역량 배양에 중점을 두었다.

군 총무과 관계자는 “이번 현장 학습을 통해 새내기 공무원들이 지역에 대한 자긍심을 높이고, 빠르게 공직사회에 적응하길 바란다.”며 “앞으로도 맞춤형 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영해 공무원 역량 강화를 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.

Jindo County Holds “Knowing Our Hometown” Field Study for New Public Officials
Customized training to support adaptation to organizational culture and enhance job competency
Jindo County announced that it conducted a “Knowing Our Hometown” field study on the 18th for 26 newly appointed public officials.
The field study was carried out by visiting major administrative facilities, cultural heritage sites, and local industry sites across Jindo. Participants toured locations such as Uldolmok Jindo Tower, Unrim Sanbang, and Sol Beach Jindo, gaining a deeper understanding of the county’s history, culture, administration, and industries.
In particular, at Unrim Sanbang, the new officials were able to directly experience traces of traditional art left by Jindo-born artists, providing them with a valuable opportunity to broaden their cultural literacy.
The training program also included sessions on understanding organizational culture, strengthening communication skills, establishing public service values, and promoting integrity. These sessions were designed not only to provide theoretical knowledge but also to strengthen practical adaptability in real work environments.
A representative from the County’s General Affairs Division stated, “Through this field study, we hope that new public officials will cultivate pride in their hometown and quickly adapt to public service. We will continue to operate customized training programs to further support the enhancement of public officials’ capabilities.”
