완도군, ‘완도치유페스타 일러스트 공모전’ 개최

완도군이 ‘2025 완도 방문의 해’를 기념해 완도의 치유적 가치와 관광 매력을 창의적으로 표현할 ‘완도치유페스타 일러스트 공모전’을 개최한다.

이번 공모전은 해양치유관광도시로서 완도의 브랜드 이미지를 강화하고, 지역 홍보 콘텐츠를 발굴하기 위한 취지로 마련됐다.

공모 주제는 완도 관광 자원, 해양치유완도, 완도국제해조류박람회 등이며, 1인당 최대 3점(분야별 1점씩)까지 출품할 수 있다.

접수는 9월 15일부터 10월 31일까지 온라인 구글 폼을 통해 진행된다.

군은 실무부서와 전문가 심사를 거쳐 대상 1명(100만 원), 최우수상 3명(각 50만 원), 우수상 6명(각 30만 원), 장려상 12명(각 10만 원) 등 총 22명을 선정할 계획이다.

총 상금 규모는 550만 원이며, 수상자는 11월 26일 개별 통지된다.

완도군 관계자는 “이번 공모전은 완도의 자연과 치유의 가치를 새롭게 해석하는 기회가 될 것”이라며 “수상작은 앞으로 해양치유관광 홍보의 핵심 자료로 적극 활용할 계획”이라고 말했다.

한편 완도군은 ‘2025 완도 방문의 해’를 맞아 6개 유료 관광지 할인, 섬 스탬프 투어, 무료 사진 인화 이벤트 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영하며, 관광객 유치와 지역경제 활성화에 박차를 가하고 있다.

Wando-gun to Host ‘Wando Healing Festa Illustration Contest’
“Capturing the Charm of Wando, the City of Marine Healing Tourism, through Art”
Wando-gun will hold the ‘Wando Healing Festa Illustration Contest’ to commemorate the 2025 Visit Wando Year and to creatively express the county’s healing values and tourism appeal.
The contest is designed to strengthen Wando’s brand image as a marine healing tourism city and to discover new promotional content for the region.
The themes include Wando’s tourism resources, Marine Healing Wando, and the Wando International Seaweed Expo. Each participant may submit up to three works (one per category).
Entries will be accepted from September 15 to October 31 through an online Google Form submission.
The county plans to select 22 winners through reviews by relevant departments and experts, including: one Grand Prize winner (KRW 1 million), three Excellence Award winners (KRW 500,000 each), six Merit Award winners (KRW 300,000 each), and twelve Encouragement Award winners (KRW 100,000 each). The total prize money amounts to KRW 5.5 million. Winners will be individually notified on November 26.
A Wando County official stated, “This contest will be an opportunity to reinterpret the natural beauty and healing values of Wando,” adding that “the winning works will be actively utilized as key materials for promoting the marine healing tourism brand.”
Meanwhile, in celebration of the 2025 Visit Wando Year, the county is also implementing various programs to attract tourists and revitalize the local economy, including discounts at six paid tourist attractions, an island stamp tour, and a free photo printing event.
