완도소방서, ‘소방시설 불법행위 신고포상제’ 연중 운영…

완도소방서(서장 이민석)는 완도군민들의 안전문화 정착을 위해 비상구 폐쇄와 소방시설 차단 등 불법행위를 근절하기 위한 ‘소방시설 불법행위 신고포상제’를 연중 운영한다고 10일 밝혔다.

신고 대상은 다중이용업소, 문화·집회시설, 대형마트·백화점·쇼핑몰 등 판매시설, 운수시설, 숙박시설, 위락시설, 복합건축물, 의료시설, 노유자시설 등 9개 업종에서 소방시설을 방치·훼손하거나, 비상구를 막거나, 방화셔터 등 피난시설을 고의로 차단하는 행위 등이다.

신고 방법은 국민신문고, 소방본부 및 관할 소방서 홈페이지, 휴대전화 촬영 등 다양한 방법으로 가능하다.

최초 신고자에게는 5만 원 상당의 현금 또는 온누리상품권이 지급되며, 2회 이상 신고자에게는 소화기, 단독경보형 감지기 등 소방용품이 제공된다.

단, 동일 신고자 포상금은 월 30만 원, 연 300만 원을 초과할 수 없다.

완도소방서는 지난해 실제 사례로, 군내 한 다중이용업소에서 비상구를 막아두고 소방시설을 일부 차단한 행위를 신고 받아 즉시 시정조치를 취한 바 있다고 밝혔다.

이 사례는 군민들의 신고 참여가 실제 안전사고 예방으로 이어질 수 있음을 보여준다.

이민석 완도소방서장은 “비상구와 소방시설은 군민의 생명을 지키는 최소한의 안전망”이라며 “군민들의 적극적인 신고 참여로 안전문화가 완도군 일상에 자리 잡기를 기대한다.”고 말했다.




[Wando=Haenam News] – Wando Fire Station (Chief Lee Min-seok) announced on the 10th that it is operating a year-round “Illegal Fire Facility Report Reward System” to prevent illegal activities such as blocking emergency exits or tampering with fire facilities, aiming to establish a safety-conscious culture among Wando residents.
The reporting targets include nine types of establishments: multi-use facilities, cultural and assembly venues, retail facilities such as large marts, department stores, and shopping malls, transportation facilities, lodging facilities, recreational facilities, mixed-use buildings, medical facilities, and facilities for children and the elderly. Illegal activities include neglecting or damaging fire facilities, blocking emergency exits, and deliberately obstructing evacuation facilities such as fire shutters.
Reports can be submitted through the Government’s e-People system, the Fire Department and local fire station websites, or via mobile phone photos.
First-time reporters will receive a reward of 50,000 KRW in cash or gift certificates, and those who report two or more times will receive fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers or standalone smoke detectors. However, rewards for a single reporter cannot exceed 300,000 KRW per month or 3,000,000 KRW per year.
Last year, Wando Fire Station cited a case where a multi-use facility in the county had blocked its emergency exits and partially obstructed fire facilities. Upon being reported, immediate corrective actions were taken. This example highlights how citizen reporting can directly prevent potential safety incidents.
Chief Lee Min-seok emphasized, “Emergency exits and fire facilities are the minimum safety net that protects the lives of residents. We hope that active participation in reporting by Wando residents will help safety culture become part of everyday life in our county.”
