‘씬나부네 달빛 아래 홍주 이야기’, 성황리에 개최

진도군은 지난 13일 진도읍 홍주리움에서 열린 ‘9월 씬나부네 달빛 아래 홍주 이야기’ 행사가 관광객과 지역 주민들의 큰 호응 속에 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 가을밤의 정취 속에서 홍주, 음악, 이야기가 어우러진 축제로 마련됐다.

참가자들은 홍주 초콜릿 만들기, 홍주 시음 체험에 직접 참여했으며, ‘국악앙상블 아리락’의 공연을 감상하며 풍성한 볼거리와 즐길 거리를 만끽했다.

또한 오판주 진도문화원장과 이윤선 교수가 함께하는 프로그램을 통해 홍주의 역사와 의미를 나누며 지역 고유문화에 대한 이해를 높이는 시간도 가졌다.

이 자리에는 순천시 여성단체총연합회 회원들도 함께해 홍주 초콜릿을 만들고 담소를 나누며 교류와 화합의 장을 만들었다.

진도군 경제에너지과 관계자는 “진도의 고유한 문화자산인 홍주를 널리 알리기 위해 ‘씬나부네 테마 축제’를 기획했다.”며, “앞으로 남은 마지막 축제도 지역 상권과 군민, 관광객이 함께 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램으로 준비하겠다.”고 말했다.

“Shinnabune Moonlight Hongju Story” Successfully Held
Hongju chocolate making, Hongju tasting, and a performance by the Arirak Korean Music Ensemble
Jindo County announced that the “September Shinnabune Moonlight Hongju Story” event, held on September 13 at Hongjuri-um in Jindo-eup, concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from both tourists and local residents.
The event was designed as a festival that blended Hongju, music, and storytelling under the autumn night sky. Participants took part in hands-on activities such as making Hongju chocolate and tasting Hongju, while enjoying a rich cultural experience through a performance by the Arirak Korean Music Ensemble.
In addition, Jindo Cultural Center Director Panju Oh and Professor Yoonseon Lee led a program introducing the history and cultural significance of Hongju, deepening participants’ understanding of this unique local heritage. Members of the Suncheon City Women’s Federation also joined the event, making Hongju chocolate and sharing conversations that fostered exchange and unity.
A representative from the Jindo County Economic and Energy Division stated, “We organized the ‘Shinnabune Theme Festival’ to promote Hongju, a unique cultural asset of Jindo. For the final festival of the season, we are preparing a diverse program that will allow local businesses, residents, and visitors to enjoy together.”
