진도군의회(의장 박금례)는 지난 9일부터 16일까지 8일간 열린 제310회 임시회를 모두 마무리했다.

이번 임시회에서는 제3차 추가경정예산안, 진도군 4에이치활동 지원 조례안 등 8건의 조례안 및 기타 안건 심사, 목포-진도항 호남고속철도 노선 연장 촉구 건의안, 어린이 보호구역 시간제 속도제한 설치 기준 완화 건의안 등 총 11건의 안건을 의결했다.

제3차 추경은 제2차 추경 대비 약 423억 원이 증액 편성됐으며, 군의회는 효율적이고 책임 있는 집행을 당부했다. 또한 민생과 밀접한 조례안 심사 과정에서는 현장의 목소리를 충분히 반영할 것을 주문했다.

특히 호남고속철도 노선 연장 촉구 건의안을 비롯한 주요 안건을 의결하며, 군민의 숙원사업이자 지역균형발전의 핵심 과제인 광역 교통망 확충에 적극 나서기로 했다.

박금례 의장은 “진도군의회는 군민의 삶과 직결되는 현안에 더욱 귀 기울이고, 군민과 소통·협력하는 의정활동을 펼쳐 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Jindo County Council Concludes 310th Extraordinary Session, Approves 11 Agenda Items
The Jindo County Council, chaired by Park Geum-rye, concluded the 310th extraordinary session held from September 9 to 16, spanning eight days.
During this session, the council approved a total of 11 agenda items, including the 3rd supplementary budget, the ordinance to support Jindo County 4-H activities, eight other ordinances and related matters, a resolution urging the extension of the Honam High-Speed Railway line to Jindo Port, and a proposal to relax the time-based speed limit installation criteria in school zones.
The 3rd supplementary budget increased by approximately KRW 42.3 billion compared to the 2nd supplementary budget. The council emphasized the need for efficient and responsible execution of the budget. In reviewing ordinances closely related to citizens’ daily lives, council members also urged that the voices from the field be fully reflected.
In particular, by approving the resolution urging the extension of the Honam High-Speed Railway and other key matters, the council pledged to actively pursue the expansion of regional transportation networks, a long-standing wish of residents and a key task for balanced regional development.
Chairperson Park Geum-rye stated, “The Jindo County Council will continue to listen closely to issues directly affecting citizens’ lives and carry out council activities through communication and cooperation with the community.”
