진도군 나리방조제(3.2km) 일대가 다채로운 가을꽃으로 물들어 지역 명소로 떠오르고 있다.

평소 주민들이 산책을 즐기는 이곳에는 일반 코스모스, 황화 코스모스, 백일홍 등 다양한 꽃들이 만개해 방문객들의 눈길을 사로잡고 있다.

방조제 일원 약 42,000㎡에 펼쳐진 꽃밭 사이에는 굽이굽이 이어지는 산책로가 조성돼 있어, 걷기만 해도 힐링이 되는 ‘꽃길 체험’이 가능하다.

이 꽃길은 단순한 이동 통로가 아닌, 머무르고 싶은 공간으로 만들어져 지역민과 관광객 모두에게 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

김희수 진도군수는 “나리방조제를 단순한 이동 경로가 아닌, 머무르고 싶은 꽃길로 조성하고자 했다”며, “앞으로도 계절에 맞는 다양한 꽃을 가꾸어 ‘365 꽃피는 진도 만들기’를 위해 힘쓰겠다.”고 밝혔다.

군 관계자는 “꽃길 조성은 환경 정비와 경관 개선 효과뿐만 아니라, 지역 관광 활성화에도 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며, “가을을 맞아 가족 단위 방문객들에게 최적의 산책·휴식 공간이 될 것으로 기대된다.”고 전했다.

The Nari Embankment (3.2 km) in Jindo County has been transformed into a colorful sea of autumn flowers, emerging as a local attraction.
The area, frequently visited by residents for leisurely walks, is now adorned with a variety of flowers, including common cosmos, yellow cosmos, and zinnias, captivating the eyes of all visitors.
Across approximately 42,000㎡ of flower fields along the embankment, winding walking paths have been laid out, allowing visitors to enjoy a “flower path experience” that is healing simply by strolling through it.
This flower path is designed not merely as a passageway but as a space where people want to linger, receiving enthusiastic responses from both locals and tourists.
Mayor Kim Hee-soo of Jindo stated, “We aimed to transform the Nari Embankment from a mere transit route into a flower path where people want to spend time. Moving forward, we will continue cultivating a variety of seasonal flowers to achieve our goal of making Jindo bloom all year round.”
A county official added, “Creating the flower path not only improves the environment and scenery but also significantly contributes to local tourism. With autumn upon us, it is expected to be an ideal space for families to walk and relax.”
