해남 솔라시도, ‘속도와 결단’이 미래를 결정한다.

솔라시도가 다시 주목받고 있다.
한때 관광·레저용으로 기획됐던 이 지역이 이제는 AI와 RE100을 결합한 미래형 에너지 신도시로 변모하고 있다.

전남도·해남군·지역 국회의원이 힘을 합쳐 국가 전략사업화를 추진하는 모습은 고무적이다.

그러나 현실은 냉정하다. 정주환경은 아직 턱없이 부족하고, 교통 인프라는 개선이 시급하다.

관련법과 정책이 비공개로 진행되는 점도 투명성과 속도에 걸림돌이다.

울산과 새만금은 이미 풍력 산업단지와 글로벌기업 유치에서 앞서가고 있다.

솔라시도의 장점은 분명하다.
신안 해상풍력과 태양광, ESS를 연계할 수 있는 재생에너지 최적지이며, 넓은 부지와 전력망 확장성이 있다. 문제는 ‘언제, 어떻게’ 실행할 것인가다.

전남도는 법과 제도의 틀을 마련하고, 해남군은 정주 인프라를 완성하며, 국회의원은 정치적 결단으로 예산과 규제를 뚫어야 한다.

속도전에서 뒤처진다면 기회는 순식간에 경쟁지로 넘어갈 것이다.

해남이 시로 승격하는 꿈, 그리고 대한민국을 대표하는 AI·RE100 신도시로의 도약은 바로 지금 결단에 달려 있다.

Haenam Solarsido: ‘Speed and Determination’ Will Decide the Future
Solarsido is once again in the spotlight.
Once planned as a tourism and leisure area, this region is now transforming into a futuristic energy city that combines AI with RE100.
It is encouraging to see Jeollanam-do, Haenam County, and the local members of the National Assembly joining forces to promote it as a national strategic project.
However, the reality is harsh. Residential infrastructure remains far from adequate, and transportation networks urgently need improvement.
The fact that relevant laws and policies are being developed behind closed doors also hinders transparency and speed.
Ulsan and Saemangeum have already taken the lead in attracting wind industry complexes and global corporations.
Solarsido has clear advantages.
It is an optimal site for renewable energy, with the potential to integrate offshore wind farms in Sinan, solar power, and ESS, and it offers vast land and expandable power grids. The question is: “When, and how, will it be implemented?”
Jeollanam-do must establish the legal and institutional framework, Haenam County must complete residential infrastructure, and the local lawmakers must make political decisions to secure budgets and break through regulations.
If it lags in the race for speed, opportunities will quickly shift to competing regions.
The dream of Haenam being elevated to city status—and of becoming South Korea’s flagship AI and RE100 smart city—depends on decisive action right now.
