박태후 소방사 등 5명 소방교 승진…새 계급장 달고 군민 안전 다짐

해남소방서가 장기간 성실하게 근무하며 맡은 업무를 수행해 온 소방공무원들의 근속승진을 축하하고 새로운 출발을 격려했다.

해남소방서(서장 정형중)는 1일 소방서장실에서 근속승진 소방공무원 5명에 대한 임용장 수여식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 인사에서는 박태후 소방사 등 모두 5명이 소방교로 근속승진했다.

이날 수여식에는 해남소방서 간부들이 참석한 가운데 승진자들에게 임용장을 전달하고 정형중 서장의 격려에 이어 기념촬영을 하는 순으로 진행됐다.

근속승진은 일정 기간 성실하게 근무하고 관련 요건을 충족한 소방공무원에게 상위 계급으로 승진할 기회를 부여하는 제도로, 일선 현장에서 묵묵히 맡은 업무를 수행해 온 직원들의 사기 진작과 조직 활성화에도 의미가 있다.

새로운 계급장을 달게 된 승진자들은 승진의 기쁨과 함께 소방공무원으로서 한층 더 무거워진 책임감을 되새기며 각자의 자리에서 군민의 생명과 재산을 보호하는 데 최선을 다할 것을 다짐했다.

특히 화재·구조·구급 등 각종 재난 현장에서 군민과 가장 가까이 마주하는 소방공무원인 만큼 새로운 계급에 걸맞은 전문성과 현장 대응 역량을 갖춰 나가겠다는 각오를 밝혔다.

정형중 해남소방서장은 “이번 승진은 각자의 자리에서 묵묵히 맡은 바 업무에 최선을 다해온 노력의 결과”라며 승진자들을 격려했다.

이어 “앞으로도 새로운 계급에 걸맞은 책임감과 사명감을 바탕으로 동료들에게 신뢰받고 군민에게 든든한 소방공무원이 되어주길 바란다”고 말했다.

해남소방서는 앞으로도 현장 중심의 소방행정과 전문적인 재난 대응 역량을 강화해 군민의 생명과 재산을 보호하는 데 최선을 다한다는 방침이다.

The Haenam Fire Station celebrated the promotion of five firefighters who have demonstrated dedication and professionalism throughout their years of service, encouraging them as they begin a new chapter in their careers.
The Haenam Fire Station, headed by Chief Jeong Hyeong-jung, announced that it held an appointment certificate presentation ceremony on September 1 at the fire chief’s office for five firefighters receiving promotions based on length of service.
As part of the latest personnel appointments, Firefighter Park Tae-hoo and four others were promoted to the rank of Senior Firefighter.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Haenam Fire Station and included the presentation of appointment certificates, words of encouragement from Chief Jeong, and a commemorative photo session.
Length-of-service promotion is a system that provides firefighters who have served diligently for a designated period and met the required qualifications with an opportunity to advance to a higher rank. The system also plays an important role in boosting morale and strengthening the organization by recognizing personnel who have faithfully carried out their duties on the front lines.
The newly promoted firefighters expressed both pride in receiving their new rank insignia and a renewed sense of responsibility as public safety professionals. They pledged to continue doing their utmost in their respective positions to protect the lives and property of Haenam residents.
As firefighters work closely with residents at the scene of fires, rescues, emergency medical incidents, and other disasters, the promoted officers also pledged to further strengthen their professionalism and emergency response capabilities in line with the responsibilities of their new rank.
“This promotion is the result of the dedication and hard work each of you has demonstrated while faithfully carrying out your duties,” Chief Jeong said, congratulating the promoted firefighters.
“I hope you will continue to serve with the responsibility and sense of duty befitting your new rank, earning the trust of your colleagues and becoming dependable firefighters whom the people of Haenam can always rely on,” he added.
The Haenam Fire Station said it will continue strengthening field-oriented fire and emergency services as well as professional disaster response capabilities to better protect the lives and property of local residents.
