진도군, 국화 향기 속 ‘달빛 정례회’ 개최… 한 해 마무리 책임행정 다짐

진도군은 11월 3일 오후 5시, ‘보배섬 국화축제’가 한창인 진도개테마파크에서 11월 ‘달빛 정례회’를 개최했다.

이번 정례회는 매월 대회의실에서 진행되던 기존 방식을 벗어나 축제 현장에서 진행돼 눈길을 끌었다.

‘끝까지 최선을 다하는 책임행정, 함께 만드는 진도군’을 주제로 열린 이번 행사에서 공직자들은 한 해를 되돌아보고, 남은 기간의 행정 방향을 공유했다.

김희수 진도군수는 정례회에서 “보배섬 국화축제, 굿나잇 야행, 국제무형문화축전, 군민의 날 기념식, 체육대회 등 최근 대규모 행사를 성공적으로 마무리한 직원들의 헌신과 노력에 감사드린다.”고 밝혔다.

이어 부서별 주요 성과를 점검하고, 내년 업무 계획을 철저히 준비하며 불필요한 사업은 정리하고, 효과가 검증된 정책은 속도감 있게 추진해 행정 효율성을 높일 것을 강조했다.

또한, 기관 평가 및 재정집행 관리, 공공비축미 수매, 겨울 채소 재배 지도, 산불 예방, 취약계층 보호 등 주요 현안에 대한 빈틈없는 대응을 당부하며, 특히 수매 현장의 안전사고 예방과 취약계층 보호에 행정 역량을 집중할 것을 강조했다.

김 군수는 “한 해의 끝자락에서 다시 한 번 초심을 다지고, 군민이 체감할 수 있는 행정을 위해 끝까지 최선을 다하자”며, 공직자들이 바쁜 업무 속에서 재충전하며 활기찬 11월을 시작하길 바란다고 말했다.

한편, 이날 행사에서는 ‘2025 남도국제미식산업박람회 시군 대표요리 전시경연’에서 대상을 수상한 진도전통식품 김민아 씨에게 상장을 수여했으며, 바르게살기운동 진도군협의회 김순복 이사와 의신면위원회 주명계 사무장에게 전라남도지사 표창을 수여해 지역사회 발전에 헌신한 공로를 인정했다.

Jindo County Holds “Moonlight Regular Meeting” Amid the Fragrance of Chrysanthemums, Reaffirms Commitment to Responsible Administration

Jindo County held its November “Moonlight Regular Meeting” at 5 p.m. on November 3 at the Jindo Dog Theme Park, coinciding with the ongoing “Treasure Island Chrysanthemum Festival.”
Breaking away from the traditional format of monthly meetings held in the main conference room, this session was held on-site amid the scent of chrysanthemums, drawing attention from attendees.
Under the theme, “Committed Administration to the End, Building Jindo County Together,” public officials gathered to reflect on the past year and share administrative directions for the remaining period.
During the meeting, County Governor Kim Hee-su expressed his gratitude to staff for their dedication and efforts in successfully concluding several large-scale events, including the Treasure Island Chrysanthemum Festival, Goodnight Night Tour, International Intangible Cultural Festival, Citizen’s Day Ceremony, and the County Sports Competition.
He also urged a thorough review of departmental achievements, meticulous preparation of next year’s work plans, the elimination of unnecessary projects, and the swift implementation of proven policies to enhance administrative efficiency.
In addition, Governor Kim emphasized the need for meticulous attention to key issues, including institutional evaluations, fiscal execution management, public rice procurement, winter vegetable cultivation guidance, wildfire prevention, and protection of vulnerable groups. He highlighted the importance of prioritizing safety at procurement sites and ensuring vulnerable residents have a warm and secure winter.
Governor Kim stated, “As we approach the end of the year, let us once again reaffirm our original commitment and strive to deliver administration that the residents can feel and trust. I hope our public officials take a moment to recharge amid their busy schedules and start November with renewed energy.”
Meanwhile, during the meeting, awards were presented to recognize outstanding contributions. Kim Min-ah of Jindo Traditional Foods received a certificate for winning first place in the “2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo County Representative Cuisine Exhibition.” Additionally, Kim Soon-bok of the Jindo County Council for the Promotion of Upright Living and Joo Myung-gye of the Uisin-myeon Committee received commendations from the Governor of Jeollanam-do for their dedication to local community development.
