우정은 시간을 견디며 깊어지고, 사랑은 함께 나이 들며 단단해진다.
해남군 오칠연합회가 지난 25년간 걸어온 길이 바로 그러했다.

해남군 오칠연합회는 최근 정기총회를 열고 제20대 회장 이‧취임식을 함께 진행하며, 반세기를 향해 가는 친구들의 우정을 다시 한 번 확인하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

이날 행사에서는 윤성일 이임 회장과 김강일 취임 회장이 바통을 이어받으며, 연합회의 새로운 한 해를 열었다.

윤성일 이임 회장은 이임사에서 “오칠연합회는 단순한 친목 단체가 아니라, 서로의 삶을 지켜봐 준 친구들의 공동체”라며 “25년 동안 함께 웃고, 함께 버텨온 시간들이 오늘의 오칠연합회를 만들었다.”고 소회를 밝혔다.

이어 취임한 김강일 회장은 “이제 우리는 2026년이면 모두 칠순을 맞이한다.”며 “앞으로의 오칠연합회는 더 큰 외형보다, 서로의 건강을 살피고 삶을 보듬는 친구 공동체가 되어야 한다.”고 강조했다.

그는 “함께 늙어간다는 것이 얼마나 큰 축복인지, 오칠연합회가 증명해 나가자”고 말했다.

이날 행사에는 진도 오칠연합회장도 내빈으로 참석해 축사를 전했다. 그는 “해남군 오칠연합회가 25년 동안 사랑과 화합으로 정을 나누며 이어온 역사는, 지역 오칠연합회의 모범”이라며 “앞으로도 서로의 우의를 다지며 더 오래 함께하길 바란다.”고 응원의 메시지를 전했다.

현재 해남군 오칠연합회는 110명의 회원이 활동하고 있다.
숫자보다 더 값진 것은, 그 안에 쌓인 시간과 신뢰다.
젊은 시절을 함께 건너온 이들은 이제 인생의 후반부를 향해 가며, 경쟁이 아닌 배려로, 속도가 아닌 동행으로 서로를 바라보고 있다.

행사 내내 “건강하게 오래 보자”는 인사가 오갔고, 악수 대신 어깨를 두드리는 손길에는 세월이 만든 깊은 정이 담겼다.

오칠연합회는 이날을 기점으로 다시 한 번 다짐했다.
더불어 사는 친구로, 끝까지 함께 가자고.
25년을 지나, 칠순을 향해 가는 길 위에서 해남군 오칠연합회의 우정은 오늘도 조용하지만 단단하게 이어지고 있다.

25 Years of Friendship, a Journey Toward Seventy
Haenam-gun Ochil Association Holds Annual General Meeting… “A Path of Friendship Built on Love and Harmony”
Friendship grows deeper as it endures time, and love becomes stronger as people grow old together.
This has been precisely the path walked by the Haenam-gun Ochil Association over the past 25 years.
Recently, the Haenam-gun Ochil Association held its annual general meeting along with the inauguration and retirement ceremony of its 20th president, marking a meaningful occasion to once again reaffirm the bonds of friendship among companions now heading toward the latter half of their lives.
At the event, outgoing President Yoon Sung-il handed over the baton to incoming President Kim Kang-il, opening a new chapter for the association.
In his farewell address, Yoon Sung-il reflected, saying, “The Ochil Association is not merely a social gathering, but a community of friends who have watched over one another’s lives,” adding, “The 25 years we spent laughing together and enduring hardships together have shaped the Ochil Association we know today.”
In his inaugural remarks, Kim Kang-il emphasized, “By 2026, we will all be turning seventy,” and continued, “From now on, the Ochil Association should focus less on outward growth and more on becoming a community of friends who look after one another’s health and embrace each other’s lives.”
He added, “Let us prove just how great a blessing it is to grow old together.”
The event was also attended by the president of the Jindo Ochil Association, who delivered a congratulatory address as a distinguished guest. He noted, “The 25-year history of love, harmony, and shared affection built by the Haenam-gun Ochil Association stands as a model for regional Ochil associations,” and expressed his hope that “the members will continue to strengthen their bonds and walk together for many years to come.”
Currently, the Haenam-gun Ochil Association has 110 active members.
More valuable than the number itself are the years of shared experience and trust accumulated among them. Having crossed the bridge of youth together, these friends now look toward the later chapters of life—not with competition, but with consideration; not with haste, but with companionship.
Throughout the event, greetings of “Let’s stay healthy and meet for a long time” were exchanged, and the gentle pats on shoulders, instead of formal handshakes, carried the deep affection forged by time.
On this day, the Ochil Association renewed its pledge once more:
to remain friends who live together, and to walk side by side to the very end.
Passing beyond 25 years and moving toward seventy, the friendship of the Haenam-gun Ochil Association continues today—quietly, yet firmly.
