해남소방서가 응급환자의 신속한 치료를 위해 119구급차의 이송병원 선정 과정에 협조해 달라고 당부했다.

해남소방서(서장 정형중)는 28일 119구급대가 현장에서 환자의 중증도와 증상, 의료기관의 진료 가능 여부와 수용 능력 등을 종합적으로 고려해 적정 이송병원을 선정한다고 밝혔다.

환자나 보호자가 특정 병원을 희망하더라도 해당 병원에서 진료하거나 환자를 수용하기 어려운 경우에는 치료가 가능한 가까운 의료기관으로 이송될 수 있다.

소방서 관계자는 “응급환자의 생명을 지키기 위해서는 신속한 병원 선정과 이송이 중요하다”며 “119구급대의 전문적인 판단에 적극 협조해 주시길 바란다.”고 말했다.

Haenam Fire Station has asked the public to cooperate with 119 ambulance crews when they select a hospital for an emergency patient.
The fire station, headed by Chief Jeong Hyeong-jung, said on September 28 that ambulance crews consider the severity of the patient’s condition, symptoms, available treatment and hospital capacity when deciding where to take a patient.
Even if a patient or guardian requests a particular hospital, the ambulance may take the patient to a nearby hospital able to provide treatment if the requested hospital cannot treat or accept them.
“Choosing a hospital and transporting the patient quickly are essential to saving lives,” a fire station official said. “We ask the public to cooperate with the professional judgment of 119 ambulance crews.”
