존경하는 군민 여러분, 그리고 독자 여러분!
2025년은 해남 역사에서 결코 잊을 수 없는 한 해로 기록될 것입니다.
해남군 솔라시도가 AI컴퓨팅·AI데이터센터 유치라는 국가 전략 산업의 중심에 서며, 해남의 미래 100년을 책임질 새로운 먹거리의 토대가 형성된 대전환의 해였기 때문입니다.
AI와 에너지가 결합된 이 변화는 단순한 개발이 아니라, 해남이 대한민국 산업 지도에서 주변이 아닌 중심으로 이동했음을 알리는 신호였습니다.
그 변화의 시작점에 해남이 있다는 사실은 가슴 벅찬 희망입니다.
그러나 희망이 큰 만큼, 언론인으로서 외면할 수 없는 우려 또한 분명히 존재합니다.
대규모 AI·에너지 산업이 특정 지역에만 집중될 경우, 인구의 쏠림과 지역 간 격차라는 또 다른 그림자가 뒤따를 수 있기 때문입니다.
RE100, AI컴퓨팅, AI데이터센터의 효과는 솔라시도만의 성과로 머물러서는 안 됩니다.
해남읍과 각 읍·면, 농어촌과 생활권 전반에까지 골고루 확산될 때 비로소 ‘해남의 성공’이라 할 수 있습니다.
해남군 출입기자협회는 이 거대한 변화의 한복판에서 기대와 성과를 기록하는 동시에, 균형이 흔들릴 때는 가장 먼저 질문하고, 가장 끝까지 감시하는 언론이 되겠습니다.
희망은 키우되, 우려는 덮지 않겠습니다.
성장은 응원하되, 소외는 방치하지 않겠습니다.
다가오는 2026년은 해남의 미래가 말이 아니라 현실로 증명되기 시작하는 해, 군민 모두가 변화를 체감하며 가슴이 벅차오르는 한 해가 되기를 기대합니다.

New Year’s Message for 2026

Dear Residents of Haenam and Esteemed Readers,
The year 2025 will be remembered as a historic turning point in Haenam’s history—one that must never be forgotten.
It was a year of profound transformation, as Solaseado in Haenam emerged at the center of a national strategic industry by attracting AI computing and AI data centers, laying the foundation for new growth engines that will sustain Haenam for the next 100 years.
This change, driven by the convergence of artificial intelligence and energy, is not merely a development project.
It is a clear signal that Haenam has moved from the periphery to the very center of Korea’s industrial landscape.
The fact that Haenam stands at the starting point of this transformation is, in itself, a source of deep pride and hope.
Yet, the greater the hope, the more clearly we must acknowledge the concerns that we, as journalists, cannot afford to overlook.
If large-scale AI and energy industries become concentrated in only a single area, they may bring with them new shadows—population concentration and widening regional disparities.
The benefits of RE100, AI computing, and AI data centers must not remain confined to Solaseado alone.
Only when their impact spreads evenly across Haenam-eup, all towns and villages, rural communities, and everyday living spaces can this transformation truly be called “Haenam’s success.”
Standing at the heart of this great change, the Haenam County Press Correspondents Association will faithfully record its expectations and achievements, while also remaining the first to raise questions—and the last to let go—whenever balance is at risk.
We will nurture hope, but we will not conceal concern.
We will support growth, but we will never ignore exclusion.
As we enter 2026, we hope it will be a year in which Haenam’s future is proven not by words, but by reality—a year in which all residents can truly feel the change and experience a sense of shared pride and excitement.
In the new year as well, we will stand beside the people, doing our utmost as a press that illuminates both the center and the margins of Haenam together.
