전라남도가 올해 여성 농어업인에게 지급한 ‘행복바우처’가 연말을 앞두고 사용 기한 만료를 맞는다.

오는 12월 31일까지 사용하지 않은 잔액은 이월이나 전환 없이 전액 자동 소멸돼, 대상자들의 각별한 주의가 요구된다.

전남도는 올해 총 203억 원의 예산을 투입해 도내 여성농어업인 10만 1천700여 명에게 1인당 20만 원 상당의 행복바우처 포인트를 지급했다.

이 바우처는 농어촌 여성농어업인의 문화·여가 생활을 지원하기 위한 제도로, 영화관, 서점, 미용실, 스포츠센터 등 다양한 문화·생활 업종에서 사용할 수 있다.

하지만 유흥·사행업종, 대형마트(이마트·롯데마트 등), 의료업종(병원·약국) 등에서는 사용이 제한된다.

특히 올해부터는 지원 대상 연령이 기존 20~75세에서 20~80세로 확대되면서 더 많은 고령 여성 농어업인이 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.

그럼에도 불구하고 사용처나 이용 방법을 몰라 바우처를 쓰지 못한 사례가 여전히 적지 않은 것으로 알려졌다.

이에 따라 전남도는 이장회의, 문자 발송, 전화 안내 등 다양한 홍보 수단을 통해 대상자들에게 잔액 확인과 사용처 안내를 집중적으로 진행해 왔다.

그럼에도 불구하고 기한 내 사용하지 않을 경우, 남은 포인트는 어떠한 예외 없이 자동 소멸된다.

김현미 전남도 농업정책과장은 “행복바우처는 빠듯한 가계에 실질적인 보탬이 되고, 여성농어업인의 문화생활과 삶의 질을 높이기 위한 정책”이라며 “단 한 분도 혜택을 놓치는 일이 없도록 반드시 연말 전에 사용해 주시길 바란다.”고 당부했다.

전남 여성농어업인 행복바우처는 오는 31일까지가 마지막 사용 기한이다.

남은 포인트가 있다면 지금이라도 영화 한 편, 책 한 권, 미용·운동 등 자신을 위한 시간으로 바우처를 활용해야 한다는 목소리가 커지고 있다.

Jeonnam Women Farmers’ and Fishers’ Happiness Voucher Expires on December 31**
The Happiness Voucher provided this year to women farmers and fishers in South Jeolla Province is approaching its expiration date as the year draws to a close.
Any remaining balance not used by December 31 will automatically expire in full, with no option for carryover or conversion, prompting authorities to urge eligible recipients to take immediate action.
This year, the Jeonnam Provincial Government allocated a total budget of 20.3 billion won, distributing 200,000 won per person in voucher points to approximately 101,700 women farmers and fishers across the province.
The program is designed to support cultural and leisure activities for women working in rural and fishing communities. The vouchers can be used at movie theaters, bookstores, beauty salons, and sports facilities, among other cultural and lifestyle venues.
However, usage is restricted at entertainment and gambling establishments, large discount marts such as E-Mart and Lotte Mart, and medical institutions including hospitals and pharmacies.
Notably, the eligibility age range was expanded this year from 20–75 to 20–80, allowing more senior women farmers and fishers to benefit from the program.
Despite these efforts, a significant number of recipients reportedly remain unaware of how or where to use the vouchers, resulting in unused balances.
In response, the provincial government has intensified outreach through village head meetings, text messages, and phone calls, providing guidance on remaining balances and approved usage locations.
Even so, officials stress that any unused points after the deadline will expire without exception.
Kim Hyun-mi, Director of the Agricultural Policy Division of Jeonnam Province, stated,
“The Happiness Voucher provides real support to households under financial pressure and plays an important role in improving the cultural life and overall quality of life for women farmers and fishers. We sincerely hope that no one misses out on this benefit and that all recipients make use of it before the end of the year.”
The final deadline for using the Jeonnam Women Farmers’ and Fishers’ Happiness Voucher is December 31.
With time running out, voices are growing louder urging recipients to use their remaining points — whether for a movie, a book, a beauty treatment, or a fitness activity — as time invested in themselves.
