마산면 (의)소망의료재단 가나안요양원(원장 김홍길)이 올해도 변함없는 이웃사랑을 실천했다.

가나안요양원은 7일 지역 독거어르신들의 건강한 겨울나기를 돕기 위해 정성껏 마련한 ‘사랑의 꾸러미’를 마산면사무소에 기탁하며 따뜻한 마음을 전했다.

이번 꾸러미에는 추운 계절에 든든함을 더해줄 추어탕·물김치·토하젓 등 반찬 세트와 체온을 지켜주는 장갑·조끼 등 겨울 생활용품이 포함됐다.

꾸러미는 마을 이장들이 직접 각 가정을 찾아 전달하며, 어르신들의 안부와 건강 상태도 함께 살폈다.

기탁식에는 가나안요양원 김홍길 원장을 대신해 최지연 사무국장이 참석했고, 김현택 마산면장과 각 마을 이장단이 함께해 나눔의 의미를 더했다.

김홍길 원장은 부득이한 사정으로 현장에 함께하지 못했지만, “큰 것은 아니지만 직원들의 따뜻한 마음이 겨울을 외롭게 보내실 어르신들께 작은 힘이 되길 바란다.”고 따뜻한 인사를 전했다.

올해 전달된 사랑의 꾸러미는 총 42가구의 독거어르신에게 전달됐다.

가나안요양원 직원들의 자발적인 모금으로 마련된 꾸러미는 한겨울의 문턱에서 체온뿐 아니라 마음까지 따뜻하게 덮어주는 선물이 됐다.

김현택 마산면장은 “매년 빠짐없이 어르신들을 위해 사랑을 실천해 주시는 가나안요양원에 진심으로 감사드린다.”며 “마산면도 지역 어르신들의 행복한 노후를 위해 복지 향상에 더욱 힘쓰겠다.”고 전했다.

지역 공동체가 함께 만들어가는 이번 나눔은, 겨울의 문턱에서 홀로 사는 어르신들에게 무엇보다 큰 위로와 격려가 되고 있다.

마산면 곳곳에 온기가 번지며, 나눔의 가치를 다시 한 번 일깨운 하루였다.

**“Sharing Warmth, Not Loneliness, This Winter”
Ganaan Nursing Home in Masan-myeon Delivers ‘Bags of Love’ to 42 Senior Households Living Alone**
Ganaan Nursing Home, operated by Somang Medical Foundation (Director Kim Hong-gil) in Masan-myeon, once again demonstrated unwavering neighborly love this year.
On the 7th, the nursing home delivered heartfelt “Bags of Love” to the Masan-myeon Community Service Center to help seniors living alone stay healthy and warm throughout the winter.
Each bag contained a set of side dishes perfect for cold weather—including chueotang (loach soup), mulkimchi, and salted freshwater shrimp—along with winter necessities such as gloves and vests to keep seniors warm.
Village chiefs personally visited each of the 42 households to deliver the packages and check on the seniors’ well-being and health conditions.
At the donation ceremony, Administrative Director Choi Ji-yeon attended on behalf of Director Kim Hong-gil. Masan-myeon Mayor Kim Hyun-taek and village chiefs also participated, adding to the spirit of community sharing.
Although unable to attend in person due to unavoidable circumstances, Director Kim conveyed a heartfelt message:
“It may not be much, but we hope the warmth of our staff’s hearts will reach seniors who may feel especially lonely during the winter season.”
A total of 42 seniors living alone received the Bags of Love this year. Prepared through voluntary fundraising by the staff, the packages served not only as physical support but also as emotional comfort during the colder months.
Mayor Kim Hyun-taek expressed his gratitude, saying,
“We deeply appreciate Ganaan Nursing Home for consistently showing love and care for our senior residents every year. Masan-myeon will continue striving to enhance welfare so that our elderly can enjoy a healthy and happy later life.”
This community-led sharing effort has become a meaningful source of encouragement for seniors facing a long winter alone.
Warmth spread throughout Masan-myeon once again, reminding everyone of the true value of giving.
