진도군은 11일 의신면 사천리 운림공원에서 ‘제4회 진도군 임업인 한마음대회’를 개최하고, 지역 임업인의 화합과 지속가능한 산림산업 발전을 위한 뜻깊은 만남의 장을 마련했다.
이번 행사는 진도군표고버섯생산자연합회(회장 박창선)가 주관하고, 진도군산림조합(조합장 허용범)을 비롯해 산림경영인협회 전남지회 진도지부(지회장 조규탁), 전문임업인협회 진도지부(회장 임영효), 진도분재회(회장 박시영), 진도아리랑분재협회(회장 조상용), 진도난우회(회장 장길우), 진도군임산물생산자협의회(회장 박건호)가 후원했다.
행사에는 지역 임업인과 관련 기관·단체 회원 등 약 200명이 참여해 산림 분야 정보 교류와 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
행사장은 임업소득 향상을 위한 정책 소개와 산림경영 노하우 공유는 물론, 축하공연·체육행사·임산물 전시 등 다양한 프로그램으로 가득 채워졌다.
참가자들은 품목별 기술을 나누고 현장 경험을 공유하며 지역 임업 발전에 대한 의지를 다지는 의미 있는 시간을 보냈다.
진도군 관계자는 “이번 한마음대회가 임업인들이 서로의 경험을 나누고 지혜를 모으는 소중한 장이 되었다”며 “앞으로도 임업인의 안정적인 소득 기반 마련과 활력 있는 산림 현장 조성을 위해 지속적으로 지원하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
이번 대회를 통해 진도군은 지역 특성을 살린 임산물 경쟁력 강화와 임업인의 공동체 역량을 높이는 계기를 마련했다.
지역 임업인들의 단합과 도약을 향한 의지가 진도 산림의 새로운 성장 동력이 될 것으로 기대된다.

**“Forestry Is Jindo’s Future!”
4th Jindo County Forest Farmers Unity Festival Concludes with Renewed Commitment to Growth**
Jindo County hosted the 4th Jindo Forest Farmers Unity Festival on the 11th at Unrim Park in Sacheon-ri, Uisin-myeon, providing a meaningful venue to strengthen solidarity among local forest farmers and to explore the future direction of sustainable forest industry development.
The event was organized by the Jindo Shiitake Mushroom Producers Association (Chairman Park Chang-seon), with support from the Jindo County Forestry Cooperative (President Heo Yong-beom), the Jindo Branch of the Korea Forest Managers Association (Branch Head Cho Gyu-tak), the Jindo Branch of the Korea Professional Foresters Association (Chairman Lim Young-hyo), the Jindo Bonsai Association (Chairman Park Si-young), the Jindo Arirang Bonsai Association (Chairman Cho Sang-yong), the Jindo Orchid Association (Chairman Jang Gil-woo), and the Jindo Forest Products Producers Council (Chairman Park Gun-ho).
Approximately 200 forest farmers, institutional representatives, and members of related organizations participated, sharing information on forest policies and engaging in discussions aimed at strengthening local forest management.
The festival featured a wide range of programs, including briefings on income-enhancing forest policies, exchanges of forest management know-how, celebratory performances, sports activities, and exhibitions of local forest products. Participants also shared crop-specific techniques and hands-on field experiences, reaffirming their commitment to advancing Jindo’s forest industry.
A county official remarked, “We hope this unity festival serves as a meaningful opportunity for forest farmers to share experiences and pool their wisdom,” adding, “Jindo County will continue to support forest farmers to ensure stable income and a more vibrant forestry sector.”
Through this year’s event, Jindo County strengthened the competitiveness of its region-specific forest products and bolstered community capacity among forest farmers. The unity and determination shown at the festival are expected to become a driving force for the future growth of Jindo’s forest industry.
