진도군은 지난 6일부터 7일까지 이틀간 ‘2026년 주요업무계획 보고회’를 개최하며, 내년도 군정 운영 방향과 추진 전략을 구체화했다.
이번 보고회에서는 2025년 한 해 동안의 주요 성과를 점검하고, 보완이 필요한 부분을 분석했다.
이어 민선 8기 군정 목표인 ‘군민이 주인, 살기 좋은 진도!’ 실현을 위해 2026년 신규 시책과 주요 과제를 검토했다.
진도군은 2026년 군정 운영 방향을 ‘비상하는 아름다운 진도! 화합하는 군민과 함께’로 설정하고, 농수산업 기반 조성을 통한 다 함께 잘사는 진도 실현, 누구나 누리는 ‘더불어 맞춤 복지’ 제공, 지방소멸 대응과 출산·양육·교육 지원 강화, 역사·자연·관광이 어우러진 대한민국 으뜸 문화도시 조성, 미래성장동력 확보 및 군민 섬김 행정 추진을 핵심 과제로 제시했다.
또한 군은 계속 추진 중인 244건의 사업과 신규 발굴 시책 85건을 점검하며, 군정의 지속적 발전과 변화의 기반을 다졌다.
진도군 관계자는 “부서별 추진 상황 점검과 자체평가를 통해 주요 현안 사업을 체계적으로 관리하고, 군민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 만들어 가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
이번 보고회는 진도군이 군민 중심의 행정을 강화하고, 지역 경제·문화·복지 분야에서 균형 있는 발전을 도모하는 중요한 계기로 평가된다.

“Jindo Where Citizens Are the Owners!” 2026 Administrative Plan Kicks Off for a Better Living Environment
Jindo County held its 2026 Key Administrative Plans Review Meeting over two days, from the 6th to the 7th, to detail the county’s administrative direction and strategic plans for the coming year.
The meeting reviewed major achievements from 2025 and analyzed areas needing improvement.
In line with the goals of the 8th-term administration, “Citizens as Owners, Jindo a Better Place to Live!”, the county also examined new initiatives and key projects for 2026.
For 2026, Jindo County has set its administrative direction as “Soaring Beautiful Jindo! Together with a Harmonious Citizenry”, focusing on five core objectives: promoting inclusive prosperity through agriculture and fisheries, providing “tailored welfare for all”, strengthening responses to population decline and supporting childbirth, childcare, and education, developing Jindo as a top cultural city combining history, nature, and tourism, and securing future growth engines while delivering citizen-centered administration.
Additionally, the county reviewed 244 ongoing projects and 85 newly proposed initiatives, laying the foundation for continuous development and transformation in local governance.
A county official stated, “Through departmental progress reviews and self-assessments, we aim to systematically manage key pending projects and deliver tangible outcomes that citizens can feel.”
The review meeting is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening citizen-centered governance and promoting balanced development in Jindo’s economy, culture, and welfare sectors.
