해남군의회 민경매 의원이 10월 28일 (사)한국유권자중앙회 주최, 정명대상조직위원회·유권자정책평가단·국민선거감시단 공동 주관으로 열린 ‘제8회 정명대상 지방자치 의정대상’에서 대상의 영예를 안았다.
이번 지방자치 의정대상은 지방자치 발전과 국가사회에 기여한 국회의원, 광역·기초의원, 지방자치단체장을 대상으로 공정한 검증과 평가를 통해 선정되는 권위 있는 상이다.
민 의원은 군민 생활 향상과 지역 현안 해결을 위한 활발한 입법 활동과 5분 자유발언 등에서 공로를 인정받았다.
민 의원은 「해남사랑상품권 발행 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안」, 「해남군 스포츠클럽 육성 및 지원에 관한 조례안」 등을 발의하며 지역경제 활성화에 앞장섰고, 「농어촌 기본소득 개선 및 전면 도입 촉구 건의안」, 「전복 양식어가 회생 대책 마련 촉구 건의안」 등을 통해 농어업인과 지역 주민의 권익 보호에도 힘썼다.
민 의원은 수상 소감으로 “이번 수상은 저 개인의 영예가 아니라, 늘 곁에서 함께 해주신 군민 여러분의 신뢰와 성원 덕분”이라며, “앞으로도 현장에서 군민의 눈높이로 소통하며 모두가 행복한 해남을 만들기 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Haenam County Councilor Min Kyung-mae Receives 2025 Local Autonomy Legislative Award
Haenam County Councilor Min Kyung-mae was honored with the top prize at the “8th Jeongmyeong Awards Local Autonomy Legislative Award,” held on October 28. The event was hosted by the Korea Voter Association and jointly organized by the Jeongmyeong Awards Organizing Committee, the Voter Policy Evaluation Group, and the National Election Monitoring Group.
The Local Autonomy Legislative Award is a prestigious recognition presented to members of the National Assembly, metropolitan and local councilors, and local government heads who have contributed to the development of local autonomy and society, following a fair evaluation and verification process.
Councilor Min was recognized for his active legislative work and five-minute speeches aimed at improving residents’ lives and addressing local issues.
He spearheaded initiatives such as the “Partial Amendment to the Haenam Love Gift Certificate Ordinance” and the “Haenam Sports Club Development and Support Ordinance,” promoting local economic revitalization. Additionally, he proposed measures including the “Rural Basic Income Improvement and Full Implementation Proposal” and the “Measures for the Revival of Abalone Aquaculture Farmers,” reflecting the voices of farmers, fishermen, and local residents to protect their rights and interests.
Regarding the award, Councilor Min said, “This honor is not just for me personally but is thanks to the trust and support of the residents who have always stood by my side. I will continue to communicate with residents at their level on the ground and do my utmost to make Haenam a happy community for all.”
