전라남도해남교육지원청(교육장 조연주)은 10월 21일(화) 해남 산이정원과 호텔현대 바이라한 목포에서 강진, 영암, 완도, 진도, 해남 등 5개 교육지원청 교육장과 학부모회 임원 100여 명이 참여한 가운데 「2025 하반기 남도오군 학부모 한마당」을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 ‘지역과 공생하는 교육생태계 실현’을 주제로, 교육발전특구 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다.

5개 군 교육지원청과 지역사회, 학부모회가 협력해 자연과 공생하는 전남형 ESG 교육문화 확산을 목표로 진행되었다.

1부는 해남 산이정원에서 ‘생태전환교육의 가장 따뜻한 실천은 나무 한 그루 심기’라는 슬로건 아래 환경 지키기 캠페인으로 열렸다.

참가자들은 지역별 특색을 살린 생태전환 활동에 참여하며 자연과 공존하는 교육의 가치를 직접 체험했다.

2부는 호텔현대 바이라한 목포에서 진행됐다.

영암학부모회연합회 김효진 회장과 해남학부모회연합회 박정환 회장은 생활 속 ESG 실천 사례를 공유하며 참석자들의 큰 공감을 이끌어냈다.

이어 김기환 도슨트의 특강 「현대예술을 쉽게 바라보고 접근하기」를 통해 예술과 교육의 융합적 가치를 나누고, 지역 학부모와 교육 관계자들의 문화적 감수성을 높이는 시간을 가졌다.

조연주 교육장은 “이번 학부모 한마당은 지역과 학교, 학부모가 함께 만들어가는 생태적 교육공동체의 출발점이자 실천의 장이었다.”며, “앞으로도 지역과 공생하는 교육생태계 구축을 위해 다양한 협력과 실천의 기회를 지속적으로 마련하겠다.”고 말했다.

Collaborating with Communities to Practice Ecological Education:
‘2025 Second Half Namdo Five-County Parents’ Festival’ Concludes Successfully
The Jeollanam-do Haenam Office of Education (Superintendent Jo Yeon-ju) announced that on Tuesday, October 21, the “2025 Second Half Namdo Five-County Parents’ Festival” was successfully held at San-i Garden in Haenam and Hotel Hyundai Bira-han Mokpo. The event brought together superintendents from five educational offices—Gangjin, Yeongam, Wando, Jindo, and Haenam—and over 100 parent association officers from the respective regions.
The festival, held as part of the Education Development Special Zone project, carried the theme “Realizing an Educational Ecosystem in Harmony with Local Communities.”
The event aimed to promote a Jeonnam-style ESG education culture that coexists with nature, through collaboration among the five county education offices, local communities, and parent associations.
The first session took place at San-i Garden in Haenam under the slogan “The Warmest Practice of Ecological Education is Planting a Tree.” Participants engaged in environmental protection campaigns and experienced firsthand the value of education that harmonizes with nature, with activities reflecting the unique characteristics of each region.
The second session was held at Hotel Hyundai Bira-han Mokpo. Kim Hyo-jin, president of the Yeongam Parent Association Federation, and Park Jeong-hwan, president of the Haenam Parent Association Federation, shared practical ESG initiatives implemented in daily life, earning strong resonance from the audience.
This was followed by a special lecture by docent Kim Ki-hwan, “Approaching and Understanding Contemporary Art with Ease,” which explored the integrative value of art and education, fostering cultural sensitivity among local parents and education stakeholders.
Superintendent Jo Yeon-ju said, “This Parents’ Festival marked the starting point and practical stage for an ecological education community co-created by local communities, schools, and parents. We will continue to provide various opportunities for collaboration and practice to build an educational ecosystem in harmony with local communities.”
