지난 14일, 두륜산 입구에 조성된 ‘두륜산 생태 힐링파크’를 찾은 초등학생들의 들뜬 목소리가 파크 일대를 가득 메웠다.
해남군이 지난 8월 개장한 두륜산 생태 힐링파크는 두륜산 케이블카 하부에 위치해 관광객들에게 색다른 체험과 즐거움을 선사하며 인기를 끌고 있다.
파크는 길이 356m의 카트체험장과 70m 사계절 썰매장으로 구성되어 있으며, 9월부터 사계절 썰매장까지 정상 운영을 시작했다.
관내 초·중학교를 비롯해 인근 지역에서도 단체 방문이 이어지고 있으며, 가족 단위 관광객에게 최적화된 체험 공간으로 빠르게 자리 잡고 있다.
특히 추석 연휴 기간에는 하루 평균 700여 명이 방문하며 두륜산 관광 활성화에 기여하고 있다.

군은 어린이 체험시설 부족 문제를 해소하고, 두륜산권역 관광 활성화를 위해 생태 힐링파크를 조성했다.
전문업체 위탁 운영으로 SNS 홍보와 주변 상가 연계 할인 등 다양한 마케팅 전략을 펼치며 관광객 편의를 높이고 있다.
군 관계자는 “우리 아이들이 즐겁게 체험할 수 있는 공간을 조성하게 되어 기쁘다”며, “앞으로도 두륜산권역을 체험과 휴식이 함께하는 웰니스 공간으로 발전시켜 나가겠다.”라고 말했다.

현재 두륜산 생태 힐링파크에서는 개장 기념으로 해남군민 50% 할인 혜택과 지역 상가 2만 원 이상 이용 시 할인 이벤트를 진행 중이다.
또한, 15일부터 20일까지 열리는 LPGA BMW 레이디스 챔피언십 대회를 기념해 발행된 관광책자를 소지한 관광객은 두륜산케이블카, 포레스트수목원, 땅끝 해양자연사박물관 등 해남군 내 유료관광지 7개소에서 최대 50% 할인을 받을 수 있다.
특히, 생태 힐링파크 방문 시 인근 두륜산 대흥사의 천년 숲과 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 등재된 대흥사 사찰도 함께 즐길 수 있어 두륜산권역을 아우르는 체험·관광 코스로 각광받고 있다.

Haenam’s “Duryunsan Ecological Healing Park” Breathes New Life into Daheungsa Area Tourism
Go-Karts and All-Season Sledding Become Popular, Quickly Establishing the Park as a Family-Friendly Destination

On the 14th, the excited voices of elementary school students filled the area as they enjoyed themselves at the newly opened Duryunsan Ecological Healing Park, located at the entrance of Duryunsan Mountain.
Opened in August by Haenam County, Duryunsan Ecological Healing Park, located beneath the Duryunsan Cable Car, is attracting visitors with unique experiences and fun activities.
The park features a 356-meter go-kart track and a 70-meter all-season sledding course, which began full operations in September.
Groups from local elementary and middle schools, as well as nearby regions, have been visiting the park, and it has quickly become a popular space for family-oriented tourism.
During the recent Chuseok holiday, the park welcomed an average of 700 visitors per day, contributing to the revitalization of tourism in the Duryunsan area.
Haenam County developed the park to address the lack of children’s activity facilities and to boost tourism in the Duryunsan region.
Operated by a professional company, the park actively engages in SNS promotions and collaborates with nearby businesses to offer discounts, enhancing convenience for visitors.
A county official stated, “We are delighted to create a space where children can enjoy hands-on experiences,” adding, “We will continue to develop the Duryunsan area into a wellness destination that combines both activity and relaxation.”
Currently, the park offers a 50% discount for Haenam residents as part of the opening event, as well as discount promotions for visitors who spend over KRW 20,000 at local shops.
From the 15th to the 20th, in celebration of the LPGA BMW Ladies Championship, visitors who carry the Haenam tourism booklet can receive up to 50% off at seven paid tourist sites in Haenam County, including Duryunsan Cable Car, Forest Arboretum, and Ttangkkeut Marine Natural History Museum.
In addition, visitors to the Ecological Healing Park can also explore the millennia-old forest of Daheungsa Temple and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Daheungsa, making it a comprehensive experience and tourist course throughout the Duryunsan area.
