진도군은 오는 9월부터 11월까지를 ‘2025년 하반기 지방 세외수입 체납 일제 정리 및 집중 징수 기간’으로 정하고, 체납액 해소를 위한 강도 높은 징수 활동에 나선다고 밝혔다.
군은 체납액 징수를 위해 독촉장과 체납고지서를 일제 발송하고, 체납처분 절차를 병행한다. 또한 현장 징수 강화를 위해 ‘체납 차량 집중 단속의 날’을 운영, 자동차세 및 차량 관련 과태료 체납 차량과 대포 차량을 대상으로 번호판 영치를 집중 실시할 계획이다.
아울러 지방행정제재·부과금의 고액·상습 체납자에 대해서는 명단 공개도 추진한다.
납부는 전국 모든 금융기관을 직접 방문하거나, 가상계좌 및 위택스(www.wetax.go.kr)를 통해 가능하다.
군 세무회계과 관계자는 “지방세외수입은 군민 복지 증진과 각종 시책 추진을 위한 소중한 재원”이라며, “체납액 징수 활동을 철저히 추진해 세수 확충에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

Jindo County Launches 2025 Second-Half Campaign to Clear Delinquent Non-Tax Revenues
September–November designated as “集中 Collection and Enforcement Period”
Jindo County announced that from September through November it will designate a “2025 Second-Half Delinquent Non-Tax Revenue Collection and Enforcement Period” and carry out intensive measures to resolve arrears.
To strengthen collection, the county will issue mass notifications and delinquency notices, while simultaneously enforcing compulsory collection procedures. In addition, to reinforce on-site efforts, the county will operate a “Delinquent Vehicle Crackdown Day” to seize license plates from vehicles with unpaid automobile taxes, traffic-related fines, or those classified as unregistered “ghost vehicles.”
Furthermore, the county plans to disclose the names of high-value and habitual delinquent offenders of local administrative penalties and fines.
Payments can be made in person at any financial institution nationwide, through a virtual account, or via the Wetax online system (www.wetax.go.kr).
An official from the Jindo County Tax and Accounting Division stated, “Non-tax revenues are an essential financial resource to promote welfare and implement key initiatives for our residents. We will rigorously pursue collection activities to secure fiscal soundness and expand revenue.”
