해남군이 제14회 대한민국 지식대상에서 행정안전부장관상을 수상하며 안전 농어촌 도시 구현 성과를 인정받았다.
대한민국 지식대상은 지식행정과 경영을 통해 정부혁신과 기관 경쟁력 향상을 이끈 우수 사례를 발굴·확산하기 위해 시행된다.
해남군은 전국 최초로 군-마을 간 CCTV 관제 일원화 사업을 추진하고, 지능형 CCTV 통합관제 시스템과 전용회선 통합 정책을 도입해 효율성을 높였다.
2022년부터 2026년까지 관내 515개 마을의 노후 CCTV를 교체하고 신규 설치를 추진, 24시간 상시 모니터링 체계를 구축했다.
CCTV 통합관제센터는 범죄, 화재, 재난 등 각종 사건 발생 시 경찰·소방 등 유관기관과 실시간 정보를 공유하며 초기 대응 시간을 단축, 군민 체감 안전도를 높이고 있다.
특히 어린이, 여성, 노인 등 사회적 약자의 생활안전을 확보하는 데도 기여하고 있다.
손명도 부군수는 “이번 수상은 군민 안전을 위한 지속적 노력의 결실”이라며, “앞으로도 시스템 고도화를 통해 모든 군민이 안심하고 행복하게 생활할 수 있는 안전 농어촌 도시를 만들어 나가겠다.”고 말했다.

Haenam County Wins Minister of the Interior and Safety Award at the 14th Korea Knowledge Awards
Haenam County has been honored with the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award at the 14th Korea Knowledge Awards, recognizing its achievements in creating a safe rural and fishing community.
The Korea Knowledge Awards aim to identify and promote exemplary cases of public institutions and organizations that enhance government innovation and organizational competitiveness through knowledge administration and management.
Haenam County is the first in the nation to implement an integrated CCTV monitoring system connecting the county and villages, introducing an intelligent CCTV control system and a dedicated line integration policy to improve efficiency.
From 2022 to 2026, the county plans to replace outdated CCTV units and install new ones across all 515 villages, establishing a 24-hour continuous monitoring system.
The CCTV Integrated Control Center shares real-time information with relevant agencies, such as the police and fire departments, in the event of crimes, fires, or disasters, shortening initial response times and enhancing residents’ sense of safety.
The system also contributes significantly to protecting the daily safety of socially vulnerable groups, including children, women, and the elderly.
Attending the award ceremony, Deputy County Mayor Son Myung-do stated, “This award is the result of our continuous efforts to ensure the safety of our residents. We will continue to advance the system so that all residents can live safely and happily in a secure rural and fishing community.”
