진도군이 귀농어귀촌인의 주거 부담을 덜고 안정적인 정착을 돕기 위해 ‘귀농어귀촌인 대상 임대주택’ 입주자를 모집한다.

이번 임대주택은 진도군청 도시개발과의 빈집 리모델링 사업 2개소와 전남형 만원 세컨하우스 지원사업 2개소를 통해 총 4개소가 조성됐으며, 월세 1만 원, 보증금 240만 원으로 2년간 거주할 수 있다.

신청 대상은 모집공고일 기준(9월 9일), 전라남도 외 지역에서 1년 이상 거주하다 진도군으로 전입 예정인 귀농어귀촌인이다.
신청은 9월 9일부터 22일까지 방문, 이메일, 우편으로 가능하다.

입주자 선정은 서류 심사(나이, 가구 수, 농어업 교육 이수 등)와 면접 심사(지원동기, 정착 의지, 농촌 융화 가능성 등)를 종합해 결정된다.

진도군 인구정책실 관계자는 “귀농어귀촌인 대상 임대주택은 진도군에서 새로운 출발을 준비하는 분들에게 든든한 보금자리를 제공하는 매력적인 사업”이라고 말했다.

한편, 진도군은 임대주택 외에도 농가주택 수리비 지원, 이사비 지원, 영농·어업 자재 지원, 창업 및 주택구입 융자 지원 등 다양한 초기 정착 지원 사업과 귀농인의 집 7개소 운영을 함께 추진하고 있다.

Jindo-gun Opens Applications for Rental Housing for Returning Farmers and Fishermen
Targeting Urban Residents Outside Jeollanam-do, Applications Accepted Until September 22
Jindo-gun is recruiting tenants for the “Rental Housing for Returning Farmers and Fishermen” to ease the housing burden and support the stable settlement of individuals returning to rural areas.
The rental housing consists of four units: two from Jindo-gun’s Vacant House Remodeling Project and two from the Jeonnam-type 10,000 Won Second House Support Project. Tenants can live in these units for two years at a monthly rent of 10,000 KRW and a deposit of 2.4 million KRW.
Applicants must be returning farmers or fishermen who, as of the announcement date (September 9), have continuously resided outside Jeollanam-do for at least one year and plan to move to Jindo-gun. Applications can be submitted in person, by email, or by mail from September 9 to 22.
Selection of tenants will be based on a comprehensive evaluation of document screening (age, household size, completion of agricultural or fishing education, etc.) and interview assessment (motivation for applying, intention to settle in Jindo, ability to integrate into the rural community, etc.).
A Jindo-gun Population Policy Office official stated, “Rental housing for returning farmers and fishermen provides a reliable home for those starting a new chapter in Jindo, making it an attractive program.”
In addition to rental housing, Jindo-gun offers support for farmhouse repairs, moving costs, agricultural and fishing materials, startup and housing purchase loans, and operates seven “Farmers’ Houses” to help returning farmers and fishermen explore settlement options.
