해남군이 올해부터 관내 중·고등학교 입학생에게 1인당 30만원의 입학축하금을 지급한다.

그동안 초등학교 입학생에 한해 지원하던 제도를 확대해, 해남의 모든 학생이 고른 교육혜택을 받을 수 있도록 한 것이다.

재단법인 해남군교육재단(이사장 명현관)은 “2025학년도 중·고등학교 신입생을 대상으로 입학 축하금을 지급한다.”고 밝혔다.

이번 지원은 해남군이 지난해 ‘교육발전특구’로 지정된 이후 추진 중인 보편적 교육복지 강화 정책의 일환이다.

???? 지원대상 및 금액
지원대상은 2025년 입학일 기준 해남군에 주민등록을 두고, 관내 중학교 11개교 또는 고등학교 4개교에 입학하는 학생이다.

외국인의 경우에도 등록지가 해남군이면 신청할 수 있다.

지급 금액은 1인당 30만원 상당의 해남사랑상품권으로, 약 770여 명의 학생이 혜택을 받을 것으로 예상된다.

???? 신청기간 및 방법
입학 축하금 신청은 1차 기간(11월 17일~12월 5일) : 각 읍·면사무소, 2차 기간(12월 8일~12월 19일) : 해남군교육재단(미신청자 대상)에서 가능하다.

신청자는 입학생의 친권자, 후견인, 또는 실질적 보호자로, 가족관계증명서·주민등록등본·신분증을 지참해야 한다.

군 관계자는 “이번 제도 확대는 교육발전특구 지정 이후 해남군이 추진하는 실질적 교육복지의 결실”이라며, “모든 초·중·고등학생이 평등하게 교육의 출발선에서 응원을 받을 수 있도록 다양한 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다.”고 말했다.

이번 조치로 해남군은 전남 지역에서도 보편적 교육복지 실현의 선도 지자체로 자리매김할 전망이다.

Achievement of ‘Educational Development Special Zone’—A Step Toward Universal Educational Welfare
Haenam County will begin providing a 300,000 won entrance congratulatory gift to all students entering middle and high schools within the county this year.
Previously, the support was limited to elementary school entrants. With this expansion, all Haenam students will now receive equal educational benefits regardless of school level.
The Haenam County Education Foundation (Chairman Myung Hyun-gwan) announced that the support will be provided to new students entering middle and high schools in the 2025 academic year.
This initiative follows Haenam’s designation as an Educational Development Special Zone, part of the county’s ongoing efforts to strengthen universal educational welfare.
???? Eligibility and Amount
Eligible recipients are students whose resident registration is in Haenam County as of the 2025 school admission date, and who are entering one of the 11 middle schools or 4 high schools in the county.
Foreign residents registered in Haenam are also eligible to apply.
Each student will receive 300,000 won in Haenam Love Gift Certificates, with approximately 770 students expected to benefit from the program.
???? Application Period and Procedure
Applications can be submitted as follows:
1st Period (Nov. 17 – Dec. 5): at each township or town office (Eup/Myeon Office)
2nd Period (Dec. 8 – Dec. 19): at the Haenam County Education Foundation (for late applicants)
Applications may be made by a legal guardian, custodian, or actual caregiver of the student. Required documents include a family relationship certificate, resident registration, and the applicant’s ID card.
