해남군이 2026학년도 대학수학능력시험을 마친 수험생들의 노고를 격려하기 위해 무료 스케일링(치석제거) 서비스를 제공한다.

이번 무료 스케일링은 11월 17일부터 12월 26일까지 해남군보건소 구강보건센터에서 실시되며, 주소지가 해남군이거나 해남 관내 고등학교 재학생·졸업생 중 2026학년도 수험생이면 누구나 신청할 수 있다.

참여를 원하는 학생은 사전에 구강보건센터(☎061-531-3725)로 전화 예약 후 수험표와 신분증(학생증)을 지참해 방문하면 된다.

센터에서는 무료 스케일링과 함께 구강보건교육 및 칫솔·불소용액양치 등 구강위생용품도 제공한다.

스케일링은 치아 표면의 세균막과 치석을 제거해 청소년기 치주질환을 예방하고, 치아우식증(충치)을 조기에 발견할 수 있는 효과적인 구강관리 방법이다.

군 관계자는 “수험생들이 그동안 학업과 입시 준비로 쌓인 피로를 덜고, 깨끗한 미소로 자신감 있게 면접과 대학생활을 준비할 수 있도록 이번 사업을 마련했다”며 “많은 학생들이 혜택을 누리길 바란다.”고 전했다.

Free Scaling Service for Students Who Completed the College Entrance Exam
Haenam County is offering a free dental scaling service to support and encourage students who have completed the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT).
The free scaling program will be available from November 17 to December 26 at the Haenam County Public Health Center’s Oral Health Center.
Eligible participants include students who either reside in Haenam County or are currently enrolled in (or have graduated from) a high school within the county and took the 2026 CSAT.
Students wishing to participate should make a reservation by phone (☎061-531-3725) in advance and bring both their exam admission ticket and identification card (such as a student ID) to the Oral Health Center.
In addition to the free scaling, the center will provide oral health education and distribute oral hygiene kits, including toothbrushes and fluoride mouth rinse.
Scaling removes plaque and tartar from the teeth, helping prevent periodontal disease and enabling early detection of cavities—an important step in maintaining oral health among adolescents.
A county official stated, “This program was prepared to help students relieve the stress and fatigue accumulated during their exam preparation, and to boost their confidence for interviews and university life with bright, healthy smiles. We hope many students will take advantage of this opportunity.”
