전라남도해남교육지원청(교육장 조연주)은 11월 6일(목) 해남동초등학교 운동장과 해남꿈누리센터에서 ‘2025 해남 아우름 한마당’을 성대하게 개최했다.

해남군 교육발전특구와 함께한 이번 지역공동체 교육축제에는 해남교육공동체, 주민자치회, 마을공동체, 지역민 등 약 2,000여 명이 참여해 교육자치와 주민자치가 어우러진 화합의 장을 만들었다.

이번 한마당은 ‘주민의 참여! 교육의 꿈! 하나되는 공동체’라는 주제로, 해남형 그린에코 교육과정과 지역 연계형 글로컬 인재 양성 성과를 공유하고 지역교육의 방향과 비전을 함께 나누기 위해 마련되었다.

행사는 황현필 역사 크리에이터의 기조강연으로 시작돼, 개막선언과 비전선포, 교육감과 군수, 군의회의장, 정행준 교수 담화, 성과 나눔과 우수사례 발표, 우리동네 예술학교 공연 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 진행됐다.

오전에는 해남동초 오케스트라, 해남중 국악부, 꿈행이·우수영 마을학교의 식전공연이 펼쳐져 참석자들의 큰 호응을 받았다.

특히 전남교육감, 해남군수, 군의회의장, 정행준 교수가 참여한 담화 「지역에서의 배움, 미래를 열다」에서는 지역교육의 발전 방향과 미래 비전을 공유하며 알찬 시간을 만들었다.

오후에는 농어촌 ‘우리동네 예술학교’ 성과발표회가 진행됐으며, 해남영재교육원의 창의적 산출물 발표, 해남형 교육발전특구 사업성과 보고, 국외 문화체험 결과 공유가 이어져 학생들의 배움의 결실을 확인하는 자리로 마련됐다.

조연주 교육장은 “교육자치와 주민자치가 함께 만드는 해남형 글로컬교육이 지역의 지속가능한 미래를 여는 힘이 될 것”이라며, “아이들이 마을에서 배우고 성장하며 천년의 미래를 보장하는 해남교육을 실현해가겠다.”고 밝혔다.

“Building Haenam’s Educational Future Together with Residents and Children!” ‘2025 Haenam Aurum Festival’ Successfully Held
The Haenam Office of Education, Jeollanam-do (Superintendent Jo Yeon-ju) successfully held the ‘2025 Haenam Aurum Festival’ on Thursday, November 6, at the Haenam Dong Elementary School playground and the Haenam Dream Nuri Center.
Held in collaboration with the Haenam Educational Development Special Zone, the community education festival brought together about 2,000 participants, including members of the Haenam educational community, residents’ councils, village communities, and local citizens, creating a space where educational autonomy and community participation harmoniously converged.
Under the theme, “Residents’ Participation! Dream of Education! One United Community,” the festival showcased the achievements of Haenam’s Green Eco curriculum and locally linked glocal talent development, while sharing the direction and vision for regional education.
The event began with a keynote lecture by history creator Hwang Hyun-pil and continued with an opening declaration, vision announcement, a dialogue featuring the superintendent, the county mayor, the chairman of the county council, and Professor Jeong Haeng-jun, as well as presentations of achievements, exemplary cases, and performances from the “Our Neighborhood Arts School.”
In the morning, performances by the Haenam Dong Elementary School Orchestra, Haenam Middle School Korean Traditional Music Club, and the Mural Schools of Kkumhaeng-i and Usuyeong received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
Notably, the dialogue titled “Learning in the Community, Opening the Future,” attended by the Jeonnam Superintendent of Education, Haenam County Mayor, County Council Chairman, and Professor Jeong Haeng-jun, offered valuable time to share the direction and future vision of regional education.
In the afternoon, the rural “Our Neighborhood Arts School” achievement presentations were held, followed by creative project presentations from the Haenam Gifted Education Center, reports on the Haenam Educational Development Special Zone projects, and sharing of international cultural experience results, highlighting the students’ learning outcomes.
Superintendent Jo Yeon-ju stated, “Glocal education in Haenam, created through educational and community autonomy, will be a driving force for a sustainable future in the region. We will ensure that children learn and grow in their communities, realizing Haenam’s education that guarantees a thousand-year future.”
