“10월의 마지막 밤, 해남의 낭만 속으로!” — ‘2025 해남미남축제’ 화려한 개막

해남군은 10월 31일부터 11월 2일까지 3일간 해남공원 일원에서 ‘2025 해남미남축제’를 개최, 맛있는 먹거리와 멋진 볼거리, 다채로운 즐길거리를 가득 선보인다.

개막일인 31일에는 해남 14개 읍면 주민들이 직접 참여하는 ‘특산물 뽐내기 퍼레이드’가 펼쳐져 축제의 막을 연다. 쌀, 배추, 고구마, 김, 전복 등 해남 대표 농수산물과 이를 활용한 음식들이 읍면별 행진과 함께 관람객들의 시선을 사로잡을 예정이다.

이날 오후 6시부터 열리는 개막식에서는 ‘해남8미(八味)’ 선포식과 개막 퍼포먼스가 진행되며, 이어지는 ‘미남트롯 축하쇼’에서는 손태진, 김수찬, 미스김, 정미애 등 인기 트롯 가수 4인이 무대를 뜨겁게 달군다.

11월 1일 토요일 밤에는 깊어가는 가을의 정취를 더할 ‘낭만콘서트’가 열린다.

감성 어쿠스틱 밴드 스탠딩에그와 래퍼 비오(BE’O)가 출연해 가을밤의 낭만을 노래하며, 공연 후에는 EDM 파티와 미디어 쇼가 이어져 젊은 에너지를 불어넣는다.

축제 기간 동안 지역 예술인 공연, 청소년 오케스트라, 평생학습 페스타, 오기택가요제 본선 등 다채로운 무대가 마련되어 관람객들의 발길을 붙잡을 예정이다.

또한, ‘해남김 주제관’에서는 김 관련 전시와 함께 해남8미 재료로 나만의 김밥을 만드는 ‘미남김밥 팝업존’이 운영된다(11월 1일 낮 12시).

해남군수협은 조미김 등 김 가공품을 50% 할인 판매하는 ‘해남김 반값전’을 진행한다.

체험행사도 다양하다.

해남 515개 마을을 상징하는 배추로 250명이 함께 김치를 담그는 ‘515김치비빔’(11월 1일 14시), 해남 쌀과 김으로 만든 ‘김 떡국 나눔’(11월 2일 16시), 야외 구이터, 막걸리칵테일관 등 먹거리 체험이 풍성하다.

이와 함께 가족 단위 관광객을 위한 ‘고구마 캐기 체험’도 열린다.

11월 1~2일, 하루 3회씩 총 6차례 진행되며, 체험비는 5,000원이다. 현장에서 수확도구와 가방을 제공받는다.

축제장은 국화 3만여 점으로 꾸며져, 공룡·꽃 터널·캐릭터 등 4개 테마존과 분재국화 전시관이 화려한 가을 정취를 더한다.

밤에는 LED 경관 조명으로 환상적인 야경이 펼쳐진다.

해남군 관계자는 “해남미남축제는 해남의 맛과 멋, 그리고 흥이 한자리에 어우러지는 축제”라며 “이번 주말, 가을빛 물든 해남에서 맛과 낭만의 향연을 만끽하길 바란다.”고 전했다.

“A Night of Romance in Haenam on the Last Day of October!” — The 2025 Haenam Minam Festival Opens in Style
A three-day feast of taste, beauty, and excitement — Packed with trot shows, romantic concerts, and hands-on experiences
As autumn draws to a close, Haenam will be filled with romance and excitement on the last night of October.
The county of Haenam will host the 2025 Haenam Minam Festival from October 31 to November 2 at Haenam Park, presenting a rich lineup of delicious food, captivating performances, and interactive attractions.
The festival kicks off on October 31 with the “Specialty Product Parade,” featuring residents from 14 towns and villages showcasing local agricultural and marine products such as rice, cabbage, sweet potatoes, seaweed, and abalone, along with various foods made from them. The colorful parade will fill the festival grounds with vibrant local pride.
At 6 p.m., the opening ceremony will feature a proclamation of “Haenam’s 8 Delicacies” (Haenam Palmi) and a celebratory performance. The night will culminate in the “Minam Trot Celebration Show,” with popular trot singers Son Tae-jin, Kim Soo-chan, Miss Kim, and Jung Mi-ae delivering energetic performances that will ignite the stage.
On Saturday night, November 1, the atmosphere will turn lyrical with the “Romantic Concert.” Beloved acoustic group Standing Egg and rapper BE’O will grace the stage with heartfelt autumn melodies. After the concert, an EDM party and media light show will keep the night alive with youthful energy.
Throughout the three-day event, visitors can also enjoy performances by local artists, youth orchestras, a lifelong learning festival, and the final round of the Ogi Taek Song Festival, offering nonstop entertainment across the venue.
This year’s theme, “Haenam Seaweed,” takes center stage at the Seaweed Exhibition Hall, featuring displays and the “Minam Gimbap Pop-up Zone” (Nov. 1, 12 p.m.), where participants can make their own gimbap using ingredients from Haenam’s 8 Delicacies. The Haenam Fisheries Cooperative will also hold a “Half-Price Seaweed Sale,” offering seasoned seaweed and other products at a 50% discount.
A variety of hands-on programs are also planned, including the “515 Kimchi Mixing Event” (Nov. 1, 2 p.m.), where 250 participants will make kimchi using cabbages symbolizing Haenam’s 515 villages; the “Seaweed Rice Cake Soup Sharing” (Nov. 2, 4 p.m.); an outdoor grilled snack corner; and a makgeolli cocktail bar offering local rice wine creations.
Families can take part in the Sweet Potato Harvesting Experience, held six times over November 1–2, with 30 teams per session. The participation fee is 5,000 KRW, and all tools and bags are provided on-site.
The festival grounds will be adorned with over 30,000 chrysanthemums, including displays of dinosaurs, floral tunnels, and character sculptures across four themed zones, as well as a bonsai chrysanthemum exhibition. At night, LED lights will illuminate the venue with a spectacular glow.
