해남군, ‘2025 한국문학관 전국대회·학술 심포지엄’ 개최

시문학의 고장 해남군에서 2025년 한국문학관 전국대회 및 학술 심포지엄이 오는 10월 28일부터 29일까지 1박 2일간 열린다.

이번 대회는 전국 공·사립 문학관 운영자와 실무자 약 100명이 참여하는 국내 최대 규모의 문학관 교류의 장으로, 문학관 운영 노하우 공유와 현안 논의를 통해 상생 발전의 길을 모색하는 자리다.

올해 주제는 ‘한국 공·사립 문학관 발전방안’으로, 문학관이 지역문화 허브로서의 역할을 강화하고 지속 가능한 운영 전략을 모색하는 다양한 프로그램이 진행된다.

학술 심포지엄에서는 한국 공·사립 문학관의 미래지향적 발전 방안, 문학관 제도 개선 연구, 해남 문화예술 현주소와 문학관의 역할, 문학관 운영 제도 개선 및 지원 방안 등을 주제로 발표와 토론이 이어진다.

국내 저명 문학연구자와 전시기획자, 문화행정 전문가들이 참여해 문학관의 정책적 가치와 문화적 가능성을 짚는다.

군 관계자는 “이번 전국대회를 통해 시문학의 고장 해남의 문화적 위상을 높이고, 문학을 통해 지역과 사회를 연결하는 공공문화기관으로서의 비전을 공유하는 뜻깊은 자리가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Haenam County to Host ‘2025 Korea Literary Museum National Conference & Academic Symposium’
Gathering of Literary Museum Directors Nationwide to Discuss Development Strategies for Public and Private Institutions

Haenam County, known as the hometown of modern Korean poetry, will host the 2025 Korea Literary Museum National Conference and Academic Symposium from October 28 to 29 for a 2-day, 1-night event.
The conference is the largest exchange forum for literary museums in the country, bringing together approximately 100 directors and staff from public and private institutions nationwide. Participants will share operational know-how and discuss current challenges, seeking ways to foster mutual growth and cooperation.
This year’s theme, “Development Strategies for Public and Private Korean Literary Museums,” will focus on enhancing the role of literary museums as regional cultural hubs and exploring sustainable management strategies through various programs.
The academic symposium will feature presentations and discussions on topics including the future-oriented development of Korean public and private literary museums, research on institutional improvements, the current status of Haenam’s cultural and artistic scene, and operational improvements and support measures for literary museums.
Renowned scholars, exhibition planners, and cultural administration experts from across the country will participate to examine the policy value and cultural potential of literary museums.
A county official stated, “Through this national conference, we aim to elevate the cultural prestige of Haenam, the hometown of modern Korean poetry, and share a meaningful vision of literary museums as public cultural institutions connecting local communities and society.”
