짙어가는 천년 숲길 가을, 대흥사서 서산대사 추계제향 및 연합수계대법회 봉행

대한불교조계종 제22교구 본사 대흥사(주지 법상스님)는 불기 2569(2025)년을 맞아, 서산대사 추계제향과 연합수계대법회를 오는 11월 1일(토) 각각 표충사와 호국대전에서 봉행한다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 법요식은 짙어가는 천년 숲길 가을을 배경으로, 서산대사의 구국 업적과 호국정신을 기리고, 호국 의승을 추모하는 경건한 자리로 마련된다.

또한 일반 불자들에게는 서원을 다지고 신앙심을 되새기는 의미 있는 기회가 될 전망이다.

서산대사 추계제향: 11월 1일(토) 오전 9시 30분, 대흥사 표충사
연합수계대법회: 11월 1일(토) 오후 2시, 대흥사 호국대전
수계 비용(동참금): 1인당 3만 원

연합수계대법회는
전계 대화상 : 대흥사 조실 보선 대종사,
갈마 아사리 : 대흥사 주지 법상스님,
교수 아사리 : 동국선원 유나 정찬 큰스님이 지도하며, 불자들의 경건한 신행을 돕는다.

대흥사 측은 “각 말사 스님과 불자들은 이번 추계제향과 수계식에 반드시 참석해 호국정신과 신앙심을 되새기길 바란다.”고 전했다.

이번 행사는 천년 숲길 가을의 풍경 속에서 호국정신을 기리고, 불자들의 경건함과 신앙심을 고취하는 뜻깊은 자리로, 지역 불교계와 일반 시민 모두 참여할 수 있다.

In the Deep Autumn of the Millennium Forest, Daeheungsa to Host Seosan Daesa Autumn Memorial and Joint Ordination Ceremony
Daeheungsa Temple, the main temple of the 22nd district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism (Head Monk Beopsang), announced on October 14 that it will hold the Seosan Daesa Autumn Memorial Ceremony and a Joint Ordination Ceremony on November 1 (Saturday) at Pyochungsa and Hogukdaejeon, respectively.
Set against the deepening autumn of the millennium forest, the ceremonies are organized to honor the patriotic achievements and national defense spirit of Seosan Daesa and to pay tribute to Buddhist monks who served the nation. The events also provide lay Buddhists with a meaningful opportunity to renew their vows and deepen their faith.
Seosan Daesa Autumn Memorial Ceremony: November 1 (Sat), 9:30 a.m., Daeheungsa Pyochungsa
Joint Ordination Ceremony: November 1 (Sat), 2:00 p.m., Daeheungsa Hogukdaejeon
Participation Fee (Donation): 30,000 KRW per person
The Joint Ordination Ceremony will be guided by:
Jeon-gye Dae Hwasang, Daeheungsa Temple Chief Monk Boseon
Galma Asari, Head Monk Beopsang
Gyosu Asari, Dongguk Seonwon, Venerable Yuna Jeongchan
These masters will provide guidance to ensure participants carry out their vows with reverence and devotion.
Daeheungsa Temple emphasized, “Monks from all branch temples and lay Buddhists are encouraged to attend the memorial and ordination ceremonies to reflect on Seosan Daesa’s patriotic spirit and reaffirm their faith.”
The ceremonies offer a meaningful occasion to honor national devotion and inspire the reverence and faith of Buddhists, welcoming participation from the local Buddhist community and the general public amid the serene autumn scenery of the millennium forest.
